SNAG® Golf partners with American Camp Association

SNAG® Golf (‘Starting New At Golf’), a proven first touch player development program designed for new learners of all ages has signed an agreement to partner with the American Camp Association (ACA).

SNAG equipment will be offered at all ACA facilities across the U.S., and 5% of all sales of SNAG equipment on the ACA website will support “Send a Child to Camp” – a program designed to raise money to send underprivileged children to camp and “Explore 30” – a camp reading program promoting 30 minutes of reading each day.”

SNAG will reach more than 5 million children and adults who benefit from a camp experience at approximately 2,700 ACA camps throughout the United States each year.

SNAG® Golf (‘Starting New at Golf’) is an easy and fun way to learn and play golf.  SNAG® contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form. It builds on strong fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching and full swing to develop playing ability quickly and effectively. SNAG® Golf incorporates developmentally appropriate equipment that will allow golf to be learned and played in non-traditional venues, such as on a soccer field, in a gym, or on the beach. It can be taught and played almost anywhere in the world with immediate, positive results. This instant success keeps new learners wanting to be further involved with golf.

SNAG® is the skills-acquisition program used in the national school golf program headed by the World Golf Foundation’s First Tee Program. There are more than 5,000 schools that are successfully introducing children to golf in the U.S. and over 8,000 worldwide. Professionals, visit SNAG® Pros website www.snagpros.com for more information on their Coaching System used to instruct new learners. For individuals and groups that want to have fun learning golf visit www.snaggolf.com.

Founded in 1910, The American Camp Association (formerly known as the American Camping Association) is a community of camp professionals who, for 100 years, have joined together to share their knowledge and experience and to ensure the quality of camp programs. Because of their diverse 9,000 plus membership and exceptional programs, children and adults have the opportunity to learn powerful lessons in community, character-building, skill development, and healthy living — lessons that can be learned nowhere else.

As a leading authority in youth development, ACA works to preserve, promote, and improve the camp experience. ACA accredits over 2,400 camps.
