Perfect ProAms announced that its first event of 2019, the ProAm at Camelback, will be held May 17th – 19th at Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Offering a unique golfing experience that benefits the next generation of touring professionals to raise money for their career, Perfect ProAms provides a 4-some experience for amateurs that want to play top-level golf alongside promising pros. A win-win for pros and amateurs alike.
“With the intention of creating a golf event that helps the next generation of professional golfers raise money for their career, I set out to design my own version of a pro-am. Perfect ProAms awards prizes that could lead to career breakthroughs, provides guaranteed money for participating professionals, and facilitates networking opportunities between the professional and potential sponsors”, states Micah Burke, Founder of Perfect ProAms.
Notable Arizona PGA teaching professional Mike Malaska will be at this year’s event. Mike is the long-standing Worldwide Director of Instruction for the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf, was the 2011 PGA National Teacher of the Year and is based at Superstition Mountain Golf Club. Mike will be hosting a free clinic as well as playing in the tournament.
The Scottsdale event will be held May 17th-19th at Camelback Golf Club with 3 rounds played on their two championship courses: Ambiente and Padre. A practice round will be held on Friday and afterward the players can “kick back” with a fun reception featuring cocktails and appetizers, entertainment by country singer, Blake Burrows, as well as demonstrations from various golf technology companies. Saturday and Sunday will begin with a morning shotgun with the final round concluding with a “Horserace Shootout”, Awards Party and Silent Auction. Added to this year’s prize pool for the winning professional is a paid application to Q-School.
