Arizona is a golfer’s paradise – sunny skies, plenty of top tier courses to choose from and, for the past four years, home to Golf Fest Phoenix taking place February 8th and 9th at Longbow Golf Club. Throughout Golf Fest’s 16 year history, with annual shows in San Diego, Las Vegas, and, most recently Phoenix, Golf Fest has built loyalty by bringing together the top names in golf and providing great values on golf clothing, tee times, travel, lessons, and a wide variety of golf products and services.

Golf Fest Phoenix will once again feature nonstop entertainment and attractions sure to please golfers of all skill levels and ages. There will be free lessons and seminars by OB Sports Golf Academy teaching professionals, trick shot exhibitions by the “King of Clubs” Peter Longo, a custom golf cart display, free driving range use to test the latest club technologies, a junior jamboree on Saturday, skills contests for great prizes, ball fitting vans, and much more.

TaylorMade, Cleveland, Callaway, Nike, Cobra, PING, Wilson and Mizuno will be showcasing their 2013 equipment lineups during the two day event. With over 70 confirmed vendors, Phoenicians will get a first look at the newest breakthrough products in golf. Never-before-seen technological innovations will be available for hands on testing including TaylorMade’s R1 Driver; Callaway’s RAZR Fit Xtreme driver and X Hot woods and irons; Nike’s VR_S Covert club line; the AMP Cell and AMP Cell Pro drivers from Cobra; PING’s Scottsdale TR putters; and Cleveland Golf’s 588 RTX and 588 RTX CB wedges.

“These top tier companies represent the biggest names in golf and we are beyond thrilled to have them at Golf Fest,” according to Michael Nesbit, Golf Fest Director. “They will showcase their expansive 2013 equipment lineups offering attendees an opportunity to experience the latest technological advances in club design with club-fitting right on the driving range.”

This year’s show features a giveaway package with paid admission including a free round of golf to Longbow Golf Club and a one-year subscription to Golf Digest or Golf World. The first 250 paid attendees each day will also receive a 2-pack of Bridgestone golf balls.

Throughout the event there will be contests for great prizes including a possible $50,000 top prize in the GEICO Putting Challenge and a brand new flat screen TV in the helicopter ball drop benefiting The First Tee of Phoenix.

PGA Professional and world-renowned golf trick shot artist, Peter Longo, will be performing his amazing golf trick shot show at 1:00 pm both days. Longo, who hails from Chicago, is always a huge hit at the shows. He entertains the crowd with his almost unimaginable golf tricks and skills and even carries a fitting moniker – the “King of Clubs”.

Many golfers may not know the ball you play with has a major impact on your game. At the event, Bridgestone and Titleist (Saturday only) will have fitting vans available to attendees where they can be tested to find the ideal ball to optimize his or her game. You will never want to play another game with just any old ball.

It is one of the few times golfers can test the newest products, get great prices, and meet reps direct so they know they are getting the right products to fit their game. At the show, golfers get a chance to not only meet the major companies but also discover new favorites. And, with a free round of golf and magazine subscription the value is unsurpassed.

What started as a small consumer golf show in San Diego has since grown into one of the longest running golf shows showcasing everything new in golf with multiple locations across the Southwest. Golf Fest will be holding its 16th Annual San Diego show, March 15th and 16th at Oaks North Golf Course and its 9th Annual Las Vegas show, May 3rd and 4th at Angel Park Golf Club.

Each year, Golf Fest continues to grow into one of the largest consumer golf shows in the nation. In creating this event, there were three very specific goals: First and foremost, to produce a show that every golfer, regardless of expertise, could enjoy; second, to provide golfers with the opportunity to see and experience the newest products in golf – all in the same place, at the same time; and finally, to make it a fun event for the entire family, including the kids.
