Desert Mountain Club announces new Director of Club Operations

Desert Mountain, the prestigious, private golf and recreational community in Scottsdale, has named Christophe Hermine, CCM, as its new Director of Club Operations.

He is responsible for all aspects of club operations including menus, catering, customer service, staff training and budgets.

Hermine was formerly the assistant general manager at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois.

“Christophe takes a hands-on approach to management with a focus on member satisfaction,” said Desert Mountain COO and General Manager Bob Jones, adding that he has a consistent track record for enhancing and improving club operations.

Hermine has worked in the food and beverage industry for 25 years, 18 of those spent in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Prior to joining Medinah, he spent six years at the Desert Highlands community in Scottsdale as clubhouse manager and assistant general manager. He was also the assistant food and beverage director/beverage manager at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa and was employed at the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix.

He is a Certified Club Manager and a member of the Club Managers Association of America.

Born and raised in France, Hermine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism from the School of Tourism in Fontiville, France.
