The Medal Play Golf Tour visited the “Eagles Nest” course at PebbleCreek GC in Goodyear on Sunday January 20th.  “The scoring conditions were perfect today” commented tour director Blane Freytag.  “Guys took advantage of the good playing conditions and warmer weather to post some really good scores!”

Open Division - The Open division saw tour rookie Thomas Hernandez waste no time in letting his fellow competitors that he came to play posting a great 74 in his season debut. Tour veteran Joe White was second posting a steady 77, while  Mark Marquez cashed 3rd place money with a 79. Outstanding play fella’s!

Gold Division – Dick Colt came off a Hawaiian vacation with some mojo to outlast the Gold division field by 3 shots. Mark Benedetto posted a net 75 in his first event to claim 2nd while Matt Horner was 3rd.

Silver Division – Tom Exum came off recent surgery to post his best score on tour ever to cruise past the competition in the Silver division. Tony Asaro had to settle for 2nd while Bob Hickman placed 3rd.

The tour returns to action at Wigwam (Gold) in Litchfield Park on Saturday February 2nd.
