Blackstone Country Club Tournament Series open to non-members through May 20

Blackstone clubhouse and green.

Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia, located within the 7,100-acre Vistancia master plan in northwest Peoria, is offering an exclusive experience for non-members to enjoy a challenging round of golf at its private country club during its Blackstone Tournament Series held through May, 2013.

The public is invited to attend any or all of the tournaments: May 6, “Two Best Balls of Four;” May 13, “Two Person Net Stableford;” and May 20, “One Gross Best Ball and One Net Best Ball of Four.”

Guests will enjoy golf on the extraordinary Jim Engh designed golf course, Golf Digest’s first “Architect of the Year” and four-time Golf Digest national award winner. The Sonoran desert course features dramatic terrain with sheer rock faces and a series of black volcanic stone that are scaled perfectly for golf holes that also feature varied elevations.

Cost for each tournament is $85 per player and includes prizes from the Blackstone Golf Shop. Each tournament is a 1 p.m. shotgun start with check-in at noon.
