AWEE Works! Golf Classic will benefit programs for veterans

May 15 tournament being organized by Bank of America service veterans

Arizona Women’s Education & Employment (AWEE) and Bank of America’s veteran’s affinity team are joining forces on the AWEE Works! The Golf Classic supports AWEE programs and services for veterans, and takes place Wednesday, May 15 at the Arizona Grand Golf Course, 8000 S. Arizona Grand Parkway in Phoenix.

The shotgun start, best-ball format tournament presented by Bank of America begins at 7:30 a.m. following a continental breakfast. Cost is $400 per foursome or $125 for individuals and includes the continental breakfast, range balls and cart, golfer gift bag, two drink tickets and mulligans and Arizona Grand lunch buffet.

AWEE provides a range of services and programs for veterans including prerelease guidance and preparation for veterans currently incarcerated or transitioning back into the workforce and job training and preparation for homeless veterans.
