Moore named Boys Division champion of Under Armour®/Vicky Hurst Championship – Ji wins Girls Division at Gainey Ranch Golf Club

Tyler Moore of Escondido, CA., shot a 12-under-par 204 in the final round to jump to the top of leaderboard at the Under Armour®/Vicky Hurst Championship. In the Girls Division, Rong Ji of (China) Rancho Santa Fe, CA., carded 6-under-par 210 to be become the champion.

Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association, the Under Armour®/Vicky Hurst Championship was a 54-hole stroke play competition played on the par-72 course at Gainey Ranch Golf Club - Arroyo & Lakes Courses, June 20-13. The event featured 57 boys and 21 girls, ages 12-18, from 12 states, and China. The Boys Division played the course at 6,827 yards while the Girls Division played the course at 6,297 yards.

Grady Bourguignon of Yuma, AZ., carded an 11-under-par 205 tournament total to finish in second place. Peter Kyo Won Koo of (South Korea) Chandler, AZ., Redford Bobbitt of Del Mar, CA., and Marc Hedrick of Encinitas, CA., carded 10-under-par 206 totals to become third-place finishers.

Qualifier Medalist Rong Ji carded four birdies in the final round to card a 4-under-par 68 to take the championship.

Saki Iida of Gilbert, AZ., took second with a 1-under-par 215 tournament total. Morgan Gonzales of Chandler, AZ., and Mikayla Harmon of Chandler, AZ., tied for third place with tournament totals of 1-over-par 217.
