5th Annual Marilynn Smith LPGA Charity Golf Classic set for October 7th

World Golf Hall of Famer, Hollis Stacy will be this year’s special honoree

The  5th Annual Marilynn Smith LPGA Charity Golf Classic will be played on October 7th, 2013, at the Tuscany Falls Course at Pebble Creek in Goodyear, Arizona with first prize being a Rolex. The tournament benefits the Marilynn Smith Golf Scholarship Fund managed by the LPGA Foundation.

With the help of many, including Rolex, A.B. Farrington Foundation, PING, Adams Golf,  Anheuser Busch, AWGA,  Pat Bradley, Bridgestone, Callaway, Canon Business Solutions, Cleveland Golf, Daphne’s Headcovers, Discount Tire, Glacial Park, Inc., Christie Kerr, LPGA, Jack & Barbara Nicklaus, Nike, Arnold Palmer, Pickle’s Custom Golf, Titleist, Walgreen’s, World Golf Hall of Fame, Yar Golf and Yates Buick GMC, and volunteers from the Pebble Creek community this should be ensure another successful event in 2013.

The 8am shotgun, scramble format is open to men and women amateurs. The $200 entry fee includes golf with an LPGA player, breakfast on the run, an awards luncheon with live and silent auctions and a fabulous goodie bag.

This year’s special honoree is Hollis Stacy, World Golf Hall of Famer with 18 LPGA victories including four major championships. Come meet this special lady.
