The EWGA selects The Media Group to manage its
public relations and communications efforts

The history of women’s golf dates back to the mid-sixteenth century. The evolution of the game has truly captured a growing audience, particularly in its female following. One group, formed in 1991, caters solely to their female participants, providing women with a social resource and an opportunity to enjoy the game of golf together. In their pursuit of expansion, they have turned to one agency to help with their growing efforts. The Executive Women’s Golf Association, also known as the EWGA, has selected The Media Group, a creative services agency based out of Chicago, Illinois, to manage its Public Relations and Communications efforts.

As the largest women-focused amateur golf association in the U.S., the EWGA has connected more than 100,000 working and professional women who share a passion for cultivating relationships and enjoying the game of golf. Offering a wide range of affordable, organized golf activities and educational programs, this award-winning association has been driving social and networking opportunities for women through the game of golf since 1991. With EWGA chapters located in more than 120 cities throughout the U.S. as well as international locations in Bermuda, Canada, Italy and South Africa, EWGA members are active participants in hundreds of communities and collectively influence an average of $64 million annually in golf-related spending and key business decisions.
