12th Annual JGAA 100-Hole Marathon deemed a success

12th Annual JGAA 100-Hole Marathon Players

September 21, 2013 the Junior Golf Association of Arizona held its 12th Annual JGAA 100-Hole Golf Marathon at Bear Creek Golf Complex. The JGAA would like to thank everyone who participated and donated to the event this year and helped to make it a great experience. A special thanks also goes out to the sponsors of the event who donated gift certificates and golf course packages to the Marathon players participating as well as to the host of our event, Bear Creek Golf Complex.

There were over 60 donated prizes for the Marathon players in addition to the set of Custom Fit PING Irons, courtesy of Van’s Golf Shops, that went to Freeman Theriault, the Marathon player who raised the most money this year.

The JGAA would also like to thank the following Marathon Players who participated in this year’s event: Don Amos, Ray Artigue, Peggy Briggs, Timmy Briones, Barbara Burton, Justin Clarke, Drew Darrow, Robin Farran, John Gunby, Megan Hauptman, Wade Henry, Matt Housden, Kathy Knadler, Herman Lewkowitz, Roger Lindquist, Matt Planeta, Jeff Reich, Scott Reynolds, Dennis Sage, Danny Schott, Luke Schott, Charlie Shoemake, Hugh Smith, Jeff Sorkness, Scott Starmer, Freeman Theriault, Chris Wahl, Josh White, and Michael Zachrich.
