Eagle Mountain Academy announces golf instruction programs for 2009

Customized approach to golf instruction at the forefront of game improvement

Eagle Mountain AcademyEagle Mountain Golf Academy recently released its instruction program schedule and rates for the 2009-2010 season. Director of Instruction Derek Nannen announced several new added features to the programs. This year, students will have the opportunity to create their own schedules, and get on-course instruction with a PGA Professional each day. Students will receive a video analysis of their swings, launch monitor-aided club and ball fitting, and a custom practice plan for improvement. Plus, those who book a three-day school by the end of 2009 will receive the fourth day free.

“The customized approach to game improvement recognizes the uniqueness of every golfer’s swing and their games in general,” said Nannen. “The trick is to hone in on those differences and design a plan to ensure that the student is working on the fundamentals that will make the biggest positive impact on their game.”

Nannen developed his simple and informative instruction philosophy while teaching alongside several top instructors including Hank Haney, Jim Flick, Jim McLean, Laird Small and Mike McGetrick, and he’s been featured in Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, Sports Illustrated, Golf Tips and ESPN.com. His students leave each lesson armed with a clear understanding of what they are doing wrong and simple solutions designed to improve performance. Nannen began his life in the game of golf as a player, and after notching a few victories on both the amateur and professional levels, he turned his efforts to instruction. His teaching knowledge combined with his playing experience on the Nationwide and PGA TOUR allows Nannen to provide great learning opportunities for golfers of all levels including juniors, beginners, low handicappers and professionals.
