OB Sports Golf Management launches OB Sports Performance Club

OB Sports Golf Management recently announced the launch of the OB Performance Club, an innovative online portal dedicated to the health and wellness of golfers. Operated by golf-fitness specialist, Adam Huycke, the program’s basic mission is to empower each player’s game, while helping them attain their fitness goals.

The OB Sports Performance Club offers a premium membership for less than $10 per month that includes access to weekly workout routines, performance tips from industry experts covering nutrition, mental preparation, injury prevention and much more. The OB Sports Performance Club also has a standalone product – the “Performance Tool Kit.” The Tool Kit is a 21-day roadmap to better health and performance, on and off the course. It includes more than 2.5 hours of video content and a series of PDF downloads. Similar products will continue to be produced for those who do not want to commit to a monthly program; however, because of its value and efficacy, the monthly program is encouraged.

As an overweight child who weighed nearly 200 pounds at the age of 11, Huycke struggled with team sports. With the help of a personal trainer, he would go on to lose more than 40 pounds, all while discovering a passion for the game of golf, and more importantly a better way of life. “My studies of the body, along with my own trial and error, have led me to perform at my peak on the golf course and helped to shed my gut along the way,” Huycke shared. “It is now my mission to help others discover these same physical attributes that have empowered my game and my life.”

Huycke holds a bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College located in Durango, Colo. and is classified as a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Fitness Professional and level-two Junior Coach. He also earned accreditation as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from the American Council on exercise. Huycke serves as the executive director and founder of the Junior Golf Performance Academy and the director of performance training & junior development at Tetherow Golf Club, an OB Sports-managed facility.

Huycke has worked in the health and fitness industry for the past decade with experience in managing clubs, running personal-training studios and leading sport-specific group classes. He has worked with a variety of players including a U.S. Women’s Amateur Champion, Men and Women’s Collegiate Golf teams and PGA teaching professionals.
