Mesa Country Club partners with Mesa Arts Center

Continuing its renaissance as a hub of social and recreational interests for Valley residents, Mesa Country Club has entered into a partnership with Mesa Arts Center to showcase the work of some of the Valley’s most talented artists. The original works of art are on display in the clubhouse and available for purchase by members and their guests.

“This is a wonderful way for our Club members to embrace the local community and support artists who’ve distinguished themselves among their peers,” said Jeff Lessig, Club Operations Manager for Mesa Country Club. “Adding this element of exceptional, original works of art is a terrific step in the process of re-establishing the club as a vital part of the local community. It goes hand-in-hand with our recent clubhouse redesign and the enhancements to the golf course and other facilities. There’s a wonderful new energy here and the growth in our membership is proof of it.”

The partnership assists Mesa Arts Center in fulfilling its mission of promoting the arts in the Valley, and it provides significant exposure for the artists.

Among the local artists currently on display at the Club are John Dawson, a Mesa-based figurative artist who specializes in art that is personal, perceptive and psychological in nature; Augie Tantalo, a professional artist and teacher at Highland Junior High School in Mesa; and Helen Norsigian Rowles, a Mesa Arts Center Studio Instructor.
