Senior Golf AZ announces golf tour in greater Phoenix area for golfers over 55

Senior Golf AZ announced the formation of a golf tour in the greater Phoenix area dedicated to golfers over the age of 55 who want to continue playing competitive golf. As a golfer for more than 55 years, Frank Rousseau was looking for a format that matched his age and current skill level. That’s how he chose a tour that would use the Stableford points scoring system. You can have a poor hole or two and still be in the game.

Please visit the website at www.seniorgolfaz.com or call 480-313-7108 for all the details. The Tour will launch October 20, 2014 at Sunridge Canyon Golf Club in Fountain Hills, AZ. The entire schedule for 2014-2015 is on the website.

Each event will have competition in both gross and net scoring as well as a skins game, which will be optional to all players. There will be a season long point competition that will result in a two day event at the end of the season to determine a gross and net champion of the tour. The membership fee includes a shirt with the tour logo, a hat, a barbeque at the first event and a champion’s dinner following the last event.

If you are over 55 and looking for some good golf come join in. Rousseau has designed the tour to be a fun experience for all. Send your email so you can be included in the newsletter distribution he will be sending every two weeks.
