Darius Rucker & Afrojack round-out star studded 2015 Coors Light Birds Nest Lineup

Tickets now on sale through Ticketmaster

Country superstar Darius Rucker and Grammy Award-winning DJ Afrojack will round out the 2015 Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment lineup with shows on Thursday (1/29) and Saturday (1/31), respectively. Rucker and Afrojack join American indie pop duo Capital Cities (Wednesday, 1/28) and music icon Kid Rock (Friday, 1/30) as the four acts performing at the 2015 Waste Management Phoenix Open concert venue. Tickets for Capital Cities, Darius Rucker and Afrojack are now on sale through Ticketmaster (800.745.3000, www.ticketmaster.com).  Kid Rock’s Coors Light Birds Nest show officially sold out on November 25th.

Country star Darius Rucker will be making his Coors Light Birds Nest debut when he plays the venue on Thursday, January 29th. Rucker first gained fame in the 90s as the lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning rock band Hootie and the Blowfish. Today, he is a Grammy Award-winning country artist with six number-one songs, including his most recent “Wagon Wheel.”

27-year-old Dutch DJ Afrojack will bring his high energy mix to the final night of the Coors Light Birds Nest on Saturday, January 31st. Afrojack has worked with artists from Beyoncé to David Guetta and won a Grammy for his remix of Madonna’s “Revolver.” His major label debut, “Forget the World,” which features acts from Sting to Wiz Khalifa, was released in May. Today, he’s one of only two DJs with handprints on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame (the other is Guetta).

“We’re seeing a lot of demand for Coors Light Birds Nest tickets this year,” said 2015 Birds Nest Chairman Chris Ulrich. “The Kid Rock show sold out in just over two weeks and we’re seeing strong early sales for Capital Cities. Add country star Darius Rucker and Grammy Award-winning DJ Afrojack to the lineup and it’s conceivable we could see sellouts all four nights of the 2015 Coors Light Birds Nest. I’m encouraging all my friends not to wait to buy tickets, do it now.”
