Why hire a golf course community specialist for your REALTOR®?

There are several important factors to consider when selecting any property for purchase and there are even more things to look for when considering a golf course property. Let me give you some examples of the knowledge and protection offered by a golf course community specialist: 1) A specialist should know that only 5-7% of all golfers are LEFT handed. And of the 93-95% of the remaining RIGHT handed golfers, professionals estimate 70-90% of those will have a tendency to moderately or SEVERELY slice the golf ball. That means to “curve” their shots from left to right. What does this mean to you? Try not to purchase a home too close to the fairway anywhere from 100-250 yards up the right side from the tee box! 2) A specialist will also consider the location on the golf course. Not just what side and how far from the tee box but also what side is the golf cart path on, proximity to the tee box (and language you are likely to hear) and view of the putting greens. Again, this might not be to the best location for those with sensitivity to foul verbage OR early morning lawn mowers! 3) A complete network and team of inspectors, contractors, property managers, title and escrow.
