Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia raises $60,000 for Singleton Moms fundraising golf event

Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia’s annual Singleton Moms Charity Golf Tournament raised $60,000, with an attendance of 116 golfers at this year’s event, to provide funds for local single parents who are battling cancer.

This year marked the fifth tournament hosted by Blackstone Country Club, located within the 7,100-acre Vistancia master plan in Peoria. The non-profit organization is dedicated to bringing hope, help and support to struggling single parents in Maricopa County who are fighting the disease.

Singleton Moms was founded in 2006 by two Valley women who watched their childhood friend, Michelle Singleton, succumb to cancer.

Blackstone Country Club members and local businesses donated to play the award-winning Jim Engh designed championship golf course, enjoyed an awards lunch and a silent auction at the club.
