18 teams representing 12 States, Mexico and Canada compete in prestigious junior golf tournament

The Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) hosted the 43rd-annual Junior America’s Cup July 26-30 at Pine Canyon Club in Flagstaff, AZ. The competition brought together an elite international field of 18 teams made up of the top four boys representing 12 Western States, Mexico and Canada.

“We were honored to host the 2015 Junior America’s Cup,” said Scott McNevin, Executive Director of the JGAA.  “It’s a storied event with a long history that includes many of the top professionals on tour today. Pine Canyon Club is an incredible venue that will set up very well for this event.”

Team results for the 54-hole tournament are determined by the three lowest scores (gross) of each four-player team. Players also competed for the Sally Pini award, which recognizes the individual medalist.
