Two Hole-in-One’s in same round shot by Austen Bieri of Arizona at Desert Mountain Golf Club

Austen BieriCongratulations to Austen Bieri of Gilbert, Arizona who proudly announces that he made two (2) “Hole-in-Ones” in one 18 hole round of golf on March 25, 2010.

“A native of Arizona, born on March 28, 1985 in Gilbert, Arizona, I was a part of a foursome, playing a match at Desert Mountain Chiricahua Golf Course located in North Scottsdale at the Desert Mountain Golf Club where I am a member,” states Bieri.

Austen’s first “Hole-in-One” was scored on Hole No. 8, 137 yards, par 3 and hit with a pitching wedge down wind. The ball hit about 10 feet to the front of the hole and rolled in. His second “ole-in-One” was scored on Hole No. 14, 127 yards, par 3 and hit with a pitching wedge, as well. The ball landed slightly left and approximately 6 feet in front of the hole and spun backwards into the hole.

The foursome included his father Kevin Bierl and two of his business partners Jim Schipper of Osceola, Iowa and Steve Schude of Sun Lakes, Arizona.

“We were told by some of the pros at the various clubs around Arizona that to their knowledge they have never heard of two holes-in- one in the same round of golf. The USGA said that it is a 43 million to 1 chance this could happen,”stated Bieri.
