Encanterra, A Trilogy Country Club hosted the Augie’s Quest Celebrity Golf Classic in April

Encanterra, A Trilogy Country Club hosted the 2010 Augie’s Quest Celebrity Golf Classic, benefiting MDA/ALS research projects. Now in its second year at Encanterra, Shea Homes, developers of Encanterra have shown tremendous support and is committed to Augie’s Quest. In an effort to raise additional awareness and funds for the organization, Shea Homes has added new partners this year including the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Coyotes.

The tournament, was hosted by Arizona Diamondbacks’ first baseman Conor Jackson and Arizona Cardinals punter Ben Graham, and included several other professional athletes and celebrities, and was held April 22.

Augie’s Quest is a division of the Muscular Dystrophy Association led by fitness mogul Augustine (Augie) Nieto. In March 2005, Augie was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Since then, Augie has worked to raise more than $21 million to fund MDA/ALS disease research.

Encanterra, a Trilogy Country Club, is a private 18-hole championship course with the signature design of former Ryder Cup Captain Tom Lehman.
