The Phoenician introduces junior golf camps for summer

Summer fun and free golf for juniors of all skill levels

The Phoenician is currently enrolling students in summer junior golf camps.  These camps will be offered weekly through June. They are structured to provide age appropriate instruction in a fun, safe and informative environment. 

The “Top Gun Junior Camps” are designed for advanced junior golfers ages 12 to 18 looking to improve their game and compete at the high school or college level.  “Top Gun Junior Camps” will be held Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am to Noon and lunch is included each day. Graduates of “Top Gun Junior Camps” receive a free summer membership at The Phoenician Golf Club, which allows students to play free and use the practice facilities Monday through Thursday, after 10:00 a.m. through August. 

The “Top Gun Junior Camps” will be conducted by P.G.A. Director of Instruction Michael Lamanna. 

The “Little Linksters Junior Camps” are open to juniors ages 5 to 7 and the “Golden Bears Junior Camps” are for juniors ages 8 to 11. These camps will meet Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 am to Noon. Classes will be conducted by The Phoenician PGA Staff and the curriculum consists of golf instruction followed by supervised pool activities at The Phoenician and fun and games at The Phoenician Kids Club. Upon completion of the three-day camp, juniors play golf free all summer Monday through Thursday after 10:00 am when accompanied by an adult paying a $30.00 cart fee.
