Matt Molloy appointed Senior V.P. of Operations at OB Sports

Longtime general manager of highly-successful Sandia Golf Club promoted to Corporate Office

OB Sports Golf Management is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Molloy, PGA as Senior Vice President of Operations. Molloy’s responsibilities include oversight of existing course management and club operations contracts, as well as assisting in the development and startup of new opportunities being added to the OB Sports portfolio.

Prior to joining the OB Sports corporate team, Molloy served as the general manager for 13 years at the highly successful Sandia Golf Club in Albuquerque, N.M. which is also affiliated with the Four-Star, Four-Diamond Sandia Resort and Casino. While at Sandia, he was named the Sun Country PGA Golf Professional of the Year in 2011 and 2016, Resort Merchandiser of the Year in 2011, 2012 and 2017, and was the Horton Smith Award winner in 2017. Molloy also served as director of golf for high profile clubs in Colorado, California and Nevada.

A New York native and avid Giants and Yankee fan, Matt earned his bachelor of arts degree in business administration at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. He and his wife, Sharla, have two children: daughter Madison, 13, and son Owen, 10. They are excited for the move to Arizona and exploring the Grand Canyon State.
