You might have noticed the article in last month’s issue of Arizona Golfer highlighting the enhancement project that the Pinnacle course is currently going through. Pinnacle closed on June 5th and will remain closed through October 4th. All 18 greens are getting resurfaced with new creeping A4 bent grass. In addition, all the bunkers are getting new liners and pioneer sand. The Monument course completed the same enhancements last summer.   

“It is really great to see all the hard work and money spent on the enhancements pay off. We continually get great positive feedback from our guests on the Monument course,” said Mike Friend, Director of Sales for Troon North Golf Club. 

Troon North also recently added a new fleet of Club Car golf carts this past fall. The new carts all have Visage GPS units, multiple USB ports, and upgraded luxury seats. In addition to the new carts, Troon North also recently introduced a fleet of 8 Golfboards. The Golfboards are a really fun way to surf the fairways. There is an additional charge of $30 to rent the Golfboards and guests must watch a short video on instructions for operating them. “It truly is a unique and fun way to play golf. I was surprised to see how easy they are to operate,” stated Sam Brookman, Director of Golf. With only having 8 Golfboards in inventory, guests are encouraged to reserve them in advance.
