DnA Golf tees it up with the NBA

DnA LogoDnA Golf recently announced a new licensing agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA), which allows DnA Golf to provide custom NBA team logos on their patented drivers.

DnA Golf’s licensing agreement with the NBA will provide DnA Golf drivers with team specific logos in the United States and Canada. NBA teams can use DnA Golf’s driver for sponsor rewards, season ticket incentives and for team charity events, in addition to offering them for sale in team shops, online stores, and corporate suites. DnA Golf will also offer a limited edition logo driver for the championship team of the 2010 NBA Finals.

“We received an extremely positive response from NBA team representatives at the NBA Team Retail Expo in New York earlier this year and we are thrilled to start this new relationship with the NBA and each of the 30 NBA teams,” said Howard Lindsay, CEO of DnA Golf. “The ability to provide added value to the entire NBA fan base is very exciting for DnA Golf.”

Aside from incorporating golfers’ favorite NBA team logos on their driver clubhead, DnA Golf offers a high-performance driver that is unique to the golf industry. The Alpha 610 Driver features a patented detachable-face technology and elastomeric face insert that allows a player to not only tune their driver for distance, but for desired acoustics as well – the two criteria critical to driver performance.

DnA Golf drivers with custom NBA team logos will be available at NBAStore.com and also through DnA Direct at www.dnagolf.com, with expanded distribution to green grass shops and other retailers planned to coincide with the start of the 2010-11 NBA season.
