Troon named “Management Company of the Year” by Boardroom Magazine for fifth consecutive year

Troon®, the leader in golf course management, development, and marketing, was named “Management Company of the Year” for 2018 by BoardRoom Magazine in the publication’s 20th annual “Excellence in Achievement” awards. In addition, CADDIEMASTER®, a division of Troon, was awarded “Caddie Company of the Year.” Announced in BoardRoom Magazine’s December issue, this marks the fifth consecutive year Troon has been honored with the “Management Company of the Year” distinction and first time CADDIEMASTER has been recognized.

BoardRoom Magazine’s industry peers review and select outstanding suppliers and consultants, which represent various aspects of course and club operations. Winners, each year, are selected for overall excellence in their respective fields, achievements, innovation, vision for future growth and continued impact on private club operations. The BoardRoom Magazine “Excellence in Achievement” awards are the private club industry’s only awards recognizing the clubs’ business partners.

“These incredible honors are a reflection of the outstanding professionals we have at CADDIEMASTER and at Troon Privé-managed clubs around the world,” said Tim Schantz, president, Troon. “We thank BoardRoom Magazine and our industry peers for the awards and recognition.”

Troon Privé®, the private club operating division of Troon, oversees a global portfolio of prestigious clubs. Of the more than 100 private clubs under Troon Privé management, approximately half are member-owned.

CADDIEMASTER is the leading provider of caddie services in the world, managing over 2,000 caddies and 100+ managers in 19 states and three countries. CADDIEMASTER partners with private clubs and top resorts to provide a result-oriented asset for members and guests to enjoy. Caddies and forecaddies are club ambassadors and play an important role in course maintenance and pace of play.

“The BoardRoom Awards are the only awards in the private club industry that recognize private clubs’ business partners, and every year we see increasing innovation, achievement, a vision and dedication from BoardRoom Award recipients,” said John Fornaro, publisher of BoardRoom Magazine
