Marty Jertson wins PGA Professional PNC Championship

Marty Jertson of PING Golf fired an 11-under par 205 over 54 holes to win the 2010 PGA Professional PNC Championship.

The event was contested September 22-25 at the Raven Golf Club at South Mountain in Phoenix. Jertson and six other local golfers qualified for the 2011 National Professional Championship.

Brent Griffin and Don Yrene, both representing The Golf Club Scottsdale, tied for second three shots behind Jertson. Chris Dompier of Skyline Country Club, Bob Blean of Bellair GC, Dale Abraham of Desert Mountain Golf Club and Blayne Hobbs of Wildfire GC also qualified for the National Professional Championship next year.

Jertson, who shot 70-68-67 — earned $4,000 with the win.
