Mirabel names David Engram, PGA, Head Golf Professional

Mirabel, the award-winning private club in North Scottsdale, has named David Engram, PGA, its new Head Golf Professional. The announcement comes after a comprehensive international search conducted by Mirabel members, which attracted more than 100 well-qualified applicants.

Engram comes to Mirabel after having served as the head golf professional at Barrington Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio – one of the state’s most highly acclaimed member-owned private clubs. Engram also served as an assistant golf professional at such celebrated private clubs as East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland, and Atlanta Country Club in Atlanta.

Engram holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Georgia State University and has served on the Boards of Directors for the Georgia Section PGA and the Northern Ohio PGA Section. Engram is adept at building camaraderie and strengthening friendships among his members, and is skilled at developing unique golf instruction, tournaments and interclub programming.

Mirabel is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its successful transition to member control, and thanks to an additional equity investment by members, reflecting their confidence in the club’s future, Mirabel is now debt free.

Mirabel currently is offering equity and a limited number of non-equity golf memberships. Property ownership is not required for membership in Mirabel.

Mirabel is located two miles east of the intersection of Pima and Cave Creek Roads and features a spectacular Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole golf course and a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Desert Lodge Clubhouse.
