4th Annual Charity Golf Scramble for PTSD set for May 26 at Club West Golf Club

The United States War Veteran’s PTSD Foundation presents the 4th Annual Charity Golf Scramble for PTSD. The event will take place May 26, 2012 at Club West Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona with registration starting at 7:00 AM.

The United States War Veteran’s PTSD foundation is an Arizona non- profit foundation with the mission of providing comprehensive treatment for United States combat veterans suffering with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Since March of 2008 this foundation has helped heal over 700 combat veterans “Free of Charge” and all treatment is confidential.

The current fundraising focus is the acquisition of two mobile treatment units. These units will facilitate veteran treatment across the entire state of Arizona. They will now be in a position to offer treatment to men and women without transportation and the physically impaired. Of the 80,000 troops returning from Iraq, 21% have already been diagnosed the PTSD. It is imperative we are prepared to serve these selfless individuals in need.

Please join them in support of their mission by participating in the golf scramble or as a golf sponsor. You may visit the events page on their website www.azptsd.org for more information about the event and to register. If you’re not a golfer, for a $25 donation you may join us for the steak dinner and auction after the event at Skip & Jan’s Grill in Tempe.

There are over 50 corporate sponsors and some very fine items available through their silent auction and raffle. You may also sponsor a veteran to play in the scramble.
