We-Ko-Pa Golf Club’s two courses top Golfweek’s ranking of Arizona golf courses

For the 6th consecutive year, We-Ko-Pa’s Bill Coore and Ben Creshaw-designed Saguaro Course was rated as the best daily-fee golf course in Arizona by the experts at Golfweek magazine in their 2012 Best Courses: State-by-State ranking. We-Ko-Pa’s Scott Miller-designed Cholla Course was rated 3rd on the same list for the second year in a row.

Since opening in December 2006, Saguaro has received numerous national accolades from the likes of Golfweek, GOLF Magazine, Golf Digest and Travel & Leisure Golf, including: Best Arizona Courses You Can Play – #3 Golf Magazine 2010 • Top 100 Courses You Can Play – #44 Golf Magazine September, 2008 • Top 10 America’s Best New Public Courses Golf Digest January 2008 • Top Ten Best New Courses Of 2006 Travel + Leisure Golf 2006.

Cholla, We-Ko-Pa’s original course, opened in December 2001 and has also received a number of high-profile awards, including: Top 100 Courses You Can Play – #35 Golf Magazine September, 2008 • Top 40 Casino Golf Courses – #6 Golf Digest July, 2007 • Top 10 Best New Public Golf Courses In The World Sports Illustrated Dec, 2001.

Located on the Fort McDowell Indian Community, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club is a daily fee golf facility that consists of the original 18 holes, the Cholla course, designed by Scott Miller and the second 18 holes, the Saguaro course, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. In addition to the two 18-hole courses, there is a large practice facility, a full-service clubhouse and a second smaller clubhouse serving the Saguaro Course.
