Longbow Golf Club, “The Essence of Arizona Golf”, is an oasis in the desert encircled by commanding views of mountain ranges. Opened in 1997 and completely redesigned in 2002, the Ken Kavanaugh design features an uninterrupted core golf design.
At age 16 in 2015 a Chandler high school junior named Hannah O’Sullivan shocked the LPGA Symetra Tour by defeating the full field of seasoned professional women golfers and becoming the youngest ever to win on the “futures” tour and the third youngest in history to win an LPGA professional tour event.
The Longbow name, steeped in tradition, invokes the image of the medieval archer inspiring greater distance and accuracy.
The grand patio at Longbow Golf Club enjoys morning sunrise views to the east, shade from the daytime and afternoon sunshine, and patio seating for breakfast, lunch and beverages surrounding a massive fireplace to take away the morning chill and warm the desert nights.
