Kristoffer Marshall wins 2013 Arizona Mid-Amateur Championship

The Country Club at DC Ranch was proud to host the 2013 Arizona Mid-Amateur Championship May 29-31.  Some of the best players in the state of Arizona participated. “It is an honor and privilege to host some of the best players in the State of Arizona”, said Dick Hyland, The Director of Golf at The Club. The Mid-Amateur is specific for ages 25-50 with a 3 handicap or less. The field was 95 players.

Kristoffer Marshall, and member of The Country Club at DC Ranch, cruised through his final round to become the 2013 Arizona Mid-Amateur Champion, firing a one-under 70. Marshall ended the tournament at 199(-12), beating the rest of the field by 9 strokes. He is now the top amateur in his age category of 25-50.  He hopes to qualify for the national mid-am championship in which he will represent Arizona. Andy Aduddell was the only other player to finish under par with a 54 hole total of 208(-3).
