Scottsdale Chorus offering Holiday discount for Harmony Golf Classic at Firerock Golf Club, Monday, February 17

Cost is only $150 for golf, dinner and live musical performance if purchased before December 25

The Scottsdale Chorus, champions of the 2011 Sweet Adelines International Chorus Competition, will be hosting the Scottsdale Chorus Harmony Golf Classic on Monday, February 17, 2014, at Firerock Country Club in Fountain Hills, Arizona.

The Scottsdale Chorus will be offering a special Holiday discount of $150 for its annual golf and music fundraiser, which includes golf, tee package, dinner and awards banquet and a special live performance by the Scottsdale Chorus.  This Holiday rate of $150 is available until December, 25, 2013.

In its third year, the Scottsdale Chorus Harmony Golf Classic is one of the major fundraisers each year for the Chorus.  Once again it will be hosted at the beautiful Firerock Country Club and will begin with a putting contest at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. for the scramble-format golf tournament.   Following golf there will be a dinner and awards reception, plus a special live musical performance from the four-time Sweet Adelines International champion Scottsdale Chorus.

The Scottsdale Chorus, an official chapter of Sweet Adelines International, is a 501(c)(3) educational organization that promotes four-part barbershop harmony.  Under the direction of Master Director Lori Lyford, the Chorus is made up of more than 125 talented women from across the state of Arizona and includes members who travel to sing with the chorus from Michigan, New Mexico, and North Dakota.  The Chorus has earned FOUR Sweet Adelines International Gold Medals throughout its history, including two Gold Medals in the last eight years (2006, 2011).
