Tom Hoch – a pioneer in revenue-based design and turnkey, design-build interior architecture solutions – has been selected by Marriott to remodel the clubhouse at its iconic Camelback Golf Club in Paradise Valley, Arizona.

In concert with a major renovation of the Indian Bend course by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, Hoch will revitalize and refresh the 36,000 square-foot clubhouse interior, originally built in 1999. The 36-hole golf oasis at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Scottsdale Resort & Spa is one of the true bedrocks of the Scottsdale golf landscape.

The master-plan design includes: space planning and interior design improvements to an expanded bar/lounge; revamped club grille with exhibition kitchen; upgraded inside/outside social areas, renovated members club lounge, golf shop, and locker rooms; as well as enhancements to the VIP  club room. Hoch’s team will create memorable, engaging spaces for guests and members, while bolstering the top and bottom lines for golf club operations.

Other recent U.S. and internationally-based Tom Hoch projects include: The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (Marana, Arizona); The Members’ Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota (Florida); Farm Links Golf Club (Alabama); Renaissance Golf Club (Massachusetts); TPC Valencia (California); Zavidovo Golf and Lake Resort (Russia); and Tulsa Country Club (Oklahoma); multiple projects with Troon Golf; Apes Hill Club (Barbados); and The Abaco Club (Bahamas).
