7th Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser – Saturday, May 17

The 7th Annual Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. Golf Tournament and Fundraiser is set for Saturday, May 17th at The Legends at Arrowhead located at 21027 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ.

Registration if at 6am with a shotgun start at 7am. SW BBQ luncheon and award ceremony will follow immediately after golf. Fee is $125 for individual and $450 per team. For questions or registration, contact Paul Watkinsat 602.796.5061.

Pop Warner LIttle Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a no- profit organization providing youth football, cheer and dance programs for participants in 41 states and serveral countries around the world. Consisting of approximately 360,000 young people from ages 5 to 16 years old, PWLS is the largest such program in the U.S. Pop Warner was founded in 1929 and it continues to grow and serve as the only youth program that requires its participants to maintain academic standards in order to participate.

Pop Warner is committed to developing America’s young people on the field and off. Each year, Pop Warner continues to expand its efforts in team and activity participation, as well as visibility and outreach to the community.  Since 1929, the Pop Warner program philosophy has been that athletics and scholastics go hand-in-hand. At every level, Pop Warner programs seek to develop well-rounded young men & women who learn not only the fundamentals of football, cheerleading & dance, but the importance of education in an atmospher conducive to developing sound character while having a good time.

Several sponsor programs, all of which will greatly benefit the Arizona Pop Warner Foundation in it’s attempt to fund our scholarship program for local high school & college players. In addition to supporting this very worthy cause, each sponsor will receive a beautiful hole sponsor sign (suitable for framing afterwards) and recognition on our program.
