Ladies, Let’s Play Golf!

AWGA offers golf lessons for women

The Arizona Women’s Golf Association is offering a series of lessons to help new golfers get started in the game and occasional players sharpen their skills. The “Ambassador Program” pairs PGA/LPGA golf teaching professionals with amateur women players from the AWGA to give golfers a well-rounded learning experience. Classes consist of one hour with the Pro and time after the class with the Ambassadors to learn etiquette on the course. This is a great way to take lessons at an affordable cost. The 6-week program is conveniently held on Saturdays at most locations. Starting dates vary at each location with the first classes beginning on February 27th and the last spring class starting on April 3rd. Choose a location and starting date to fit your schedule. Register online at www.awga.org and click on “AWGA Ambassador Program” to begin the registration process online. Registration forms may also be downloaded or obtained at each participating course.
