New Community Manager for The Highlands at Dove Mountain

Mark Oswald has been named Community Manager of The Highlands at Dove Mountain, a 1,297 home active adult development in Marana.

Formerly general manager of the Oro Valley Country Club, Oswald brings more than 25 years’ experience in golf, country club and community management.

As community manager of The Highlands, Oswald will have overall responsibility for the homeowners association, golf and food and beverage operations.

Growing up in Chandler, Oswald received a degree in business administration and accounting at Mesa Community College. Since 2009 he has been general manager of the Oro Valley Country Club. Oswald came to Tucson in 1997, as GM of the newly opened Golf Club at Vistoso and from 2007-2009 was GM of Hilton El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort.

He previously had been director of golf operations at Sunbird Golf Resort in Chandler, followed by roles as general manager of Great Eagle Golf Resort in Surprise and Prescott Country Club.

Oswald is a 28-year member of the PGA and in 2010 joined the Club Managers Association of America. He has received numerous awards and honors, including being named in 2010 among the PGA National Play Golf America Top 100 Professionals.

Oswald succeeds former Highlands Community Manager Jeff Ziegler, who retired after eight years in the position. Oswald and his wife of 28 years have three children and two grandchildren, all of whom live in the Tucson area.
