Jim Nantz, Rickie Fowler to headline Waste Mangement Phoenix Open Tee-Off Luncheon at Camelback Inn on December 9

Emmy-Award winning CBS Sports commentator Jim Nantz and PGA TOUR star and fan favorite Rickie Fowler will be the headline guests for the Waste Management Phoenix Open’s Tee-Off Luncheon on Wednesday, December 9, at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort and Spa.

This annual event will be emceed by Emmy-Award winning CBS 5 News Anchor Sean McLaughlin and will preview the 2016 Waste Management Phoenix Open while celebrating the tournament’s rich 81-year history. Nantz will offer his behind the scenes insight into the Waste Management Phoenix Open and the PGA TOUR, and will have a special one-on-one interview with Fowler.

“The Tee-Off Luncheon really signifies the kickoff to the Waste Management Phoenix Open,” said 2016 Tournament Chairman Dan Mahoney. “We are excited to have broadcasting legend Jim Nantz with us this year, as well as Rickie Fowler, who is a huge crowd favorite at TPC Scottsdale. We have a lot of exciting things to announce for the 2016 tournament and can’t wait to share them at the Tee-Off Luncheon.”

Tickets are $100 per person or $1,000 for a table of 10 and can be purchased on the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce website at www.phoenixchamber.com/wmpo. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program will run from 12-1:30 p.m.

The 2016 Waste Management Phoenix Open, known as “The Greatest and Greenest Show on Grass,” will be held at TPC Scottsdale from February 1-7, 2016. The Waste Management Phoenix Open is the best-attended golf tournament in the world and has gained legendary status for being the most unique stop on the PGA TOUR. The 2016 edition will mark the 81st playing of the event (one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR) and the seventh as the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
