Whispering in the air of Mesa is the buzz of one of the top outdoor golf shows in the country returning to town. Longbow Golf Club is the stage for Golf Fest Phoenix, set to tee off on Februay 12 and 13. Everything new in golf will be on display and there will be free golf clinics by PGA pros, a trick shot exhibition, a long drive clinic, along with a wide variety of vendors featuring the latest in golf clothing, shoes, accessories and clubs.

But wait—there’s more. This year’s show will feature Lynn ‘Capt’n Crush’ Ray’s Guinness World Record attempt for the most 300-yard drives hit in one hour. Since having his record broken by Andrew Frakes of 448 golf balls hit in 2013, Ray will try to reclaim his place in history on both days of the show.

The original Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Kristy Swanson, will also be making an appearance at Golf Fest as she unveils her hot new line of women’s golf apparel, aDRESSitGOLF. With a vision for all women to feel comfortable and look classy on the golf course, Kristy collaborated with her husband to launch the brand. Swanson’s brand features a variety of apparel options ranging from dresses, pants, shorts, leggings and more. Since its launch last year, the clothing line has been featured at the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience and is now set for Golf Fest Phoenix.

In addition to Lynn’s record-breaking attempt and Kristy’s latest fashion in women’s golf apparel, other notable highlights from Golf Fest include: A certificate good for a free round of golf at Longbow Golf Club just for attending • A one-year subscription to Golf Digest Magazine • Beginners, juniors and adults can participate in a wide variety of free golf clinics to improve their skills each day at 11:00 a.m. • Lynn Ray’s amazing golf trick shot show at 12p.m. each day • Witness Lynn ‘Capt’n Crush’ Ray’s attempt to reclaim the Guinness World Record for the most 300-yard drives hit in one hour at 2p.m. each day • Get a free sleeve of Wilson golf balls just for entering the Golf Fest putting challenge, benefiting the Mountain View High School girl’s golf team • Try out the coolest and newest putters right on a real putting green • Golfers will have a chance to compete in the official US Putting Tour challenge for huge prizes (Entry into a USPT putting event at Golf Fest is $20. Attendees have the option of bringing their own putter and ball or use equipment provided by our sponsors. If participants think they can improve on their first score, they can re-enter as often as they want for just $10.) • Sit back and relax in the Golf Fest Beer Garden.

If that’s not enough, attendees will also be able to meet representatives from premier golf companies ranging from TaylorMade, Cleveland, Cobra, Callaway, Adams, PING, Wilson and more. These companies will be offering golfers a chance to demo their latest clubs, get custom fit and receive great prices. There will also be incredible prices on shoes, clothing, golf bags, golf travel and much more.
