Graduating from high school is one of life’s most memorable times and, for those that have been members of their high school golf teams, boys and girls state-wide who don their own cap and gown, they have the opportunity to participate in an event in appreciation of their high school golfing experience.
Congratulations to the 2010 Boys and Girls champions: 1st Place Parker Middleton from Brophy High School with a 71 and 2nd Place Jordan Lowery from Perry High School with a 73., scorecard playoof and 3rd Place Anthony Fontana from Desert Ridge High School with a 73.
1st Place 2010 Girls is Sun Gyoung Park from Cienega High School with a 73 and 2nd Place Jamie Jaruvangsanti from Thunderbird High School with a 77, 3rd Place Nicole Jones from Horizon High School with an 83 and scorecard playoff with Sierra Sanchez from Xavier High School with an 83.
The 2010 Arizona High School Senior Golf Classic was held on May 23rd at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale. Featuring nearly 70 high school seniors, the tournament was once again being supported by The Thunderbirds, host of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The Thunderbirds have been the sponsor and host of the High School Senior Classic for over 32 years.
