The First Tee of Phoenix receives $5,000 grant from Phoenix Suns Charities

The First Tee of Phoenix announced the organization received a $5,000 grant from Phoenix Suns Charities. The grant will provide programming assistance, membership scholarships for 15 new members, fund coach and volunteer training, implement a free community outreach clinic to the South Phoenix youth at Aguila Golf Course and provide equipment and training aides to The First Tee of Phoenix coaches. 

“We’re thrilled and honored to receive this grant from Phoenix Suns Charities,” said Kevin Terry, executive director of The First Tee of Phoenix. “Suns Charities is committed to bettering our communities through youth outreach, and this grant will help us bolster our programming efforts in order to help children in The Valley learn and grow through sport.”
