Blackstone Country Club’s golf course open Mondays for events and tournaments

Blackstone golf course, a private course at Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia in Peoria, is currently open on Mondays for outside tournaments as well as customized golf outings.

“It’s a very distinctive venue that can easily accommodate area businesses, charitable organizations and other groups that hold fundraising tournaments, company outings and other golf events,” said Blackstone Director of Golf Todd Cernohous.

The award-winning Jim Engh-designed course is 7,089 yards and was built around dramatic terrain with elevation changes at every hole. In 2009, it was designated a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, the 10th in Arizona and the 778th in the world, for demonstrating a strong commitment to its environmental program and maintaining a high degree of environmental quality.

Blackstone also offers the 30,000-square-foot Hacienda clubhouse featuring the casual outdoor Cantina restaurant with a massive Mexican tile-topped bar as well as fine dining in the main dining room.
