Waste Management Phoenix Open launches iPhone App now available at Apple App Store

2011 Waste Management Phoenix Open Tournament Chairman Mike McQuaid announced a new Waste Management Phoenix Open iPhone App. Developed by Scottsdale-based DeFi Global, the app is now available for free download at the Apple App Store. The app can be found by searching “Waste Management Phoenix Open” in the Apple App Store. The 2011 Waste Management Phoenix Open takes place January 31st through February 6th at the TPC Scottsdale.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open iPhone App includes, among other features:
• Map of the TPC Scottsdale Course
• Hole-by-hole description and hole map
• Tournament scoreboard and weather updates
• Individual pages for The Thunderbirds and Waste Management
• Facebook and Twitter sign up and connections to post comments per protocol by Apple
• A link to the tournament’s e-commerce site to purchase daily tickets for the Waste Management Phoenix Open and the Coors Light Birds Nest
• A link to the Coors Light Birds Nest website.
