The Chevron World Challenge takes fans inside the ropes with the pros

The 2009 Chevron World Challenge has partnered with I Love All Access (www.iloveallaccess.com) to give golf fans the VIP treatment, with an exclusive Inside the Ropes package that allows them to walk the gree ns with their favorite golfers. Available by making a tax deductible contribution to the Tiger Woods Foundation, this all-access pass provides two guests the unique opportunity to walk 18-holes with a PGA TOUR professional during tournament play.  Additional features of the package include a complimentary breakfast, a meet and greet photograph opportunity with the golfer, tournament hospitality and a souvenir golf shirt, hat and autographed item to commemorate the experience.  All proceeds benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation and its quest to deliver unique experiences and innovative educational opportunities for youth worldwide.

The Chevron World Challenge brings host Woods and the world’s best professional golfers to Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif. for what will be Southern California’s premier sporting event this December 2-6. As the first-ever limited field event to receive Official World Golf Ranking points, the Chevron World Challenge field is made up of of 18 PGA TOUR professionals, including golf greats such as Woods, Steve Stricker, Paul Casey, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas and Anthony Kim, competing for a $5.75 million purse. Proceeds from the Chevron World Challenge benefit programs of the Tiger Woods Foundation, including the Tiger Woods Learning Center in Orange County, Tiger’s Action Plan, a nationwide character development program, and the Earl Woods Scholarship program.
