Third annual Marilynn Smith Charity Golf Classic, September 12th

Don’t forget to sign up for the third annual Marilynn Smith LPGA Charity Golf Classic that will be played on Monday, September 12th at Tuscany Falls Golf Course located in the Pebble Creek community. Thirty-one LPGA professionals will be paired with 124 men and women amateurs in an 8am shotgun scramble format.

The 2010 tournament raised $48,000 for the Marilynn Smith Golf Scholarship Fund, which helps young women attend college. This year’s goal is to provide ten $10,000 scholarships through the generosity of donors and participants.

Entry fee is $175 and includes golf with an LPGA pro, an on-the-run breakfast, an awards luncheon with live and silent auctions and a goodie bag full of surprises. World and LPGA Hall of Famer JoAnne Carner is the participating honoree. The Founding Honoree is Louise Suggs, World and LPGA Hall of Famer.
