Healthy vital signs a plus for participants during A GOLFING SUNsation

Imagine playing in a golf tournament where having healthy blood pressure, a steady pulse rate and good overall health can help lower your overall score. And, imagine learning vital facts about heart and orthopedic care along the way.

That tournament is now a reality as Sun Health Foundation and honorary hosts Jerry Colangelo, David Eaton and Mel Schultz (JDM Partners, LLC) present A GOLFING SUNsation, part of Sun Health Foundation’s Healthy SUNsations Gala Weekend featuring multiple events benefiting cardiac research.

On Saturday, November 5th with 9-10am registration, practice ball and a continental breakfast with a 10am Shotgun start, A Golfing Sunsation will take place at Wigwam Arizona Golf Course located at 300 E. Wigwam Blvd., Litchfield Park, Arizona. There will be an Awards reception from 3-3:30pm.

Good health and good golf go hand-in-hand. Select players’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse rate will be recorded during various points during the tournament. Education also plays a role, with interactive displays discussing heart and orthopedic treatment advancements incorporated during the challenging round on Wigwam Arizona’s Golf Course.

The tournament, designed for players of all skill levels, also features multiple unique and entertaining skills contests, guaranteeing a round of fun!

Individual golf fees begin at $225. Specific packages (including discounts on stays at Wigwam Arizona), and information on the accompanying Gala and fashion show are available by calling 623.815.7609, or by visiting www.sunhealthfoundation.org.
