SMACNA Arizona, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association’s Arizona Chapter, recently hosted its Ninth Annual Invitational Golf Tournament at McDowell Mountain in Scottsdale.

A team from Sigler (former NFL standout Larry Walton, Brad Hoeder, John Pearson, Greg Wille and John Krhin) posted the lowest score to win the tournament. Greg Wille had a hole-in-one to help his team to a three-stroke victory, acing the 106-yard 14th using a pitching wedge. He won a vehicle electronics package, including a radar detector, GPS, back-up camera and heads up display. The eagle helped his four-man scramble team from Sigler, an air conditioning wholesale company, capture first place in the tourney with a 20-under-par 51.

Bel-Aire Mechanical (Jim Dinan, Kevin Sullivan, Chris Cardone, Charles Italiano and former baseball great Bert Campaneris) captured the SMACNA Arizona traveling trophy at the association’s Ninth Annual Invitational Trophy. The team finished third overall, but was best among the SMACNA Arizona contractors.
