Country star Jake Owen to play 2014 Coors Light Birds Nest on Thursday, January 30th

Country star Jake Owen will play at the Coors Light Birds Nest on Thursday, January 30th as part of the 2014 Waste Management Phoenix Open festivities. Tickets for the Jake Owen show are now on sale through Ticketmaster (800.745.3000, www.ticketmaster.com, and at all Ticketmaster outlet locations).

The chart-topping vocalist is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated album, DAYS OF GOLD, on December 3 (RCA Nashville), which features the Top 15-and-climbing hit “Days of Gold.” The vibrant song marks Jake’s fastest rising single to date. The new project is poised to follow in the success of his 2011 watershed album Barefoot Blue Jean Night – which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and delivered four consecutive No. 1 singles: the double platinum title track, platinum-certified “Alone with You,” and gold-certified hits “The One That Got Away” and “Anywhere with You.

Act announcements for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings will be released at a later date. Tickets for all Birds Nest evenings, however, are on sale now through Ticketmaster.

Coors Light Birds Nest general admission tickets are $35 per night. VIP tickets are also available for $175, which provide exclusive access to the VIP area. VIP guests are treated to a complimentary catered dinner, complimentary drinks and access to a premium viewing area for the show. The Coors Light Birds Nest is located directly across from the main Waste Management Phoenix Open tournament entrance at 82nd Street and Bell Road.  The entertainment venue opens at 3:30 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Wednesday, January 29 – Saturday, February 1. Headline acts will take the main stage each evening at approximately 8 p.m. The Coors Light Birds Nest is a 21-and-over venue.

The 2014 Waste Management Phoenix Open will be played January 27 – February 2, 2014 at the TPC Scottsdale. The tournament host, The Thunderbirds, have raised more than $86 million for charities, with more than $60 million generated in the last decade.
